I am originally from Bluefield Virginia. I received my B.S. from Bluefield College and my M.S. from Radford University. I was a middle school counselor and an elementary school counselor in Danville Public Schools before I became an elementary school counselor in Albemarle County Public Schools, working at Scottsville Elementary and Stony Point Elementary. I am presently the full time counselor at Broadus Wood Elementary.
I love to travel. I have visited all but 12 of the states. I am an avid fan of the Houston Astros and the Tennessee Titans. That is obvious if you visit me in my office. I look forward to meeting all of you and learning more about each one.
I am a firm believer that all children can reach their full potential. I also believe that every child's goals are different and individual to that child. I believe that all children should become successful and productive citizens. My job is to help children realize their full potential and their individual goals. I also believe that my job is to help children learn the skills that will help them become productive citizens in the future.
