Welcome back.  I hope everyone had a safe and enjoyable break. As we move through the month of January and into the month of February, we begin to focus on finishing the school year strong and ready for the next grade.

I continue to visit the classrooms twice a month.  This month my focus has been on teaching feeling words, how to treat others with respect, accepting everyone, and future plans.   In fourth grade, we are continuing the county drug education program called Too Good For Drugs, which covers topics such as goal setting, selecting supportive friends, handling peer pressure, using I Statements, while giving age appropriate information on alcohol, tobacco, prescription and over the counter drugs, marijuana, cocaine.  If you have any questions or concerns, please contact me.
