I have been extremely busy during the month of September in the counseling 

department.

GUIDANCE

I have visited all of the classrooms 2 times and some classrooms I have visited 3 times.  

The subjects I have covered in the grade levels are:

Kindergarten - 

1) Introduction to the counselor program and the counselor with the help of Ms. Potato Head

2) Personal Space by visiting Personal Space Camp

First Grade

1) Introduction to the counselor program and the counselor 

2) Personal Space 

Second Grade

1) Introduction to the counselor program and the counselor 

2) Learning the difference in having the ability and not using that ability,  not doing your

best work, and being the best you can be with the help of the "Three Little Pigs"

3) Goal setting and learning the difference in Castle Goals and Cloud Goals

Third Grade

1) Introduction to the counselor program and the counselor 

2) Learning about empathy through Miranda Peabody asking "How do I Stand in Your Shoes"

Fourth Grade

1) Introduction to the counselor program and the counselor 

2 and 3) Learning the difference in being mean and bullying through "Just Kidding" and

"Trouble Talk"

Fifth Grade

1) Introduction to the counselor program and the counselor 

2) Learning to deal with stereotyping and prejudice
