The first quarter of school is over and Report Cards are on their way.  If you and your child are not satisfied with your child’s progress, now is the time to make a plan for improvement.  It only takes small changes to cause things to improve.  For example, 1) check your child’s backpack and folders every night, 2) communicate with your child’s teacher to build that bridge between home and school, 3) pay attention to your child’s homework and how difficult it is for them to complete the assignments, and 4) take time to talk to your child to see what is going on in all areas of their day.  These small changes will make a huge difference in your child’s success.
